Fingerstyle guitarist from Finland, Tomi Paldanius plays his music with acoustic solo guitar where melody, chords, bass and even solos are all played together at once. 

 

Livin' On A Prayer, Hotel California and Nothing Else Matters are just few classic songs Tomi has arranged for acoustic guitar. These and many other songs have reached tens of million views in social media and are played by talented guitarists from all around the world. 

 

Uploaded end of 2005, Bon Jovi's Livin' On A Prayer arrangement is one of the first popular YouTube guitar videos. It was chosen as best of youtube in Total Guitar Magazine. Guitar players around the world started playing Tomi's arrangements. One of them was young Korean guitar player Sungha Jung who is maybe the most popular guitar player in Youtube with 4 million subscribers. 

 

Tomi has graduated as classical guitar teacher from the Music Academy of Turku, Finland 2003. Foundation for his clean playing style is thanks to his classical guitar teachers Risto Vuorinen, Timo Korhonen and Ismo Eskelinen.

 

After graduated Tomi saw his true hero and influence Australian guitar icon Tommy Emmanuel playing Guitar Boogie on Youtube. It changed his life and vision as a guitar player.  Tomi was arranging Tommy's first visit to Finland in 2006. Tomi has arranged Tommy Emmanuel concerts several times in Finland and Tomi's current home city Bangkok, Thailand. Although Tommy's music style is pretty different from Tomi's, the philosophy of creating emotion/feeling and respect for the melody are important aspects for both. Tomi also plays and arranges everything by ear like Tommy.

 

Tomi has released learning material about his arrangements, playing technique and ear training.

 

Tomi's first album CLASSIC HITS - FINGERSTYLE GUITAR Vol.1 is set to be released early 2017. This album includes Tomi's known and brand new arrangements by Pink Floyd, Eagles, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Queen, Aerosmith, Guns 'N Roses, Scorpions, Led Zeppelin and Metallica. His first live tour together with the album release has been planned for April 2017 in several cities in Finland.
